2025-11-08 21:31:36 +0000 UTC3 of the best episodes early on in the show in my opinion, especially the events with Hughes and his funeral. All I can say is I believe you'll be satisfied with how that plays out in the end, be patient, it's worth seeing what happens later, the buildup and follow through is phenomenal with that corner of the storyline. "it's a terrible day for rain" one of the BEST lines I've heard in any show or movie, ever. I need a shirt with that on it 100%. with regard to Envy and Lust (and others like them) I thought they showed it earlier in the show but they have a pretty much superhuman regeneration capacity so wounds that would be fatal for a human barely phase them, but they'll get into more detail on that a couple episodes from now, so it's not really a spoiler to say that they're hard to kill. I often think of these two episodes (10 and 11) when telling people they'll cry multiple times during this show for a variety of reasons from sadness to laughing and happy tears, the original story (and the anime adaptation) really does a great job of capturing and conveying things in a way that the audience can connect with despite the world this takes place in being so different and separated from our "normal" reality.
