2025-11-12 20:46:48 +0000 UTCEl Camino was filmed in between seasons 4 & 5. That whole crew must have been masochists. TV into film into TV for basically two years straight. Good thing they were able to close out both stories effectively just before the pandemic, otherwise I'm not sure it would have happened.

Better Call Saul is a prequel to Breaking Bad that focuses on Saul years before he met Walt, and therefore, years before the events of BB. In chronological order it goes: Better Call Saul (seasons 1-5 and some of season 6), then Breaking Bad in its entirety, then El Camino (such a great film), and then the rest of season 6 of Better Call Saul is the furthest into the future we see.
