Ok - that explains how she seems not really adapted for a "Post Scarcity" Level 2-3 civilization. Today people are too sensitive but I'd imagine Bex would rescue her from Low status Grey ET Drones F--- ing her... "Uh, Welcome to the galactic alliance. Here eat this Day After uh Token cookie and I'm dragging you to the shower-matic - please sign this assault waiver uh statement of application for employment..." Bex quickly covers for her other crew mates...whom she was supposed to be supervising... IMO that's kind of a lowbrow for how humans might have evolved super fast when we'd been stable for 1 million years as wandering hunter/gatherers... Aliens abducted us to do statistical experiments, gather data - and these weren't AAA class Astronauts, rather dropouts and failures in their society so they took the "Go away for a few years, fight boredom, get slightly better than McJobs or Public Assistance..." route... And all these fleshy creatures stunned and they were REAL horny and couldn't afford S- bots, stopovers at the Alpha Blue station, etc. So they undid their robes... Kind of Donnely, Churchward, early Genesis but lowbrow...
