Consider this a soft announcement, I'm going to need a lot of support if this is ever going to make it into your hands as a physical book.
All the designs I need are finished, the manuscript is 2 chapters deep and my plans cover an entire story arc. There wasn't much content for this tier last month unfortunately, but a lot of important work went on behind the scenes.
Anything else that I need, I can get a friend to help me with 3D models or design on the spot. There's really nothing stopping me anymore other than time.
I think I'll give a little background before I drop in my designs and the first 4 pages.
My setting is Witchport, a megastructure built at the end of a period of interstellar warfare. It is a layered arcology, each layer is twice the size of a modern capital city and there are 12 layers. Witchport sits on a flat, magically warded area of a planet that was completely glassed. The planet is considered uninhabitable aside from Witchport, colonisation efforts outside of the warded area have been fruitless. The solution chosen was to build the megastructure increasingly taller, with degrading zoning laws meaning heavier buildings spanning multiple layers and exra landmass hanging from the sides of the geometric structure.
With that, Here's the main villain. Hope is more of an anti-villain, she works for law enforcement but she's doing it because of a desire for power. This new main villain is a straight up terrorist, she is unhappy with more layers being built and carries out hits on megacorps for a shadowy organisation based on layer 2. She's also terrifying, she uses long stilletto daggers on stealth missions and goes crazy with sticky explosive charges, handcannons and agile movements on loud assaults.
The residents of Witchport call her the Gun Hag.
Her visor is cracked from a fatal gunshot which she has not fixed. Her enemies who have fought her believe her to be undead, but the organisations those enemies work for have reasoned that there must be more than one person wearing the outfit. Every single reptile person of similar height and build could be a suspect.
Next is Winter, you saw them in the prologue. They're a bounty hunter, and although they operate within the law they often get into open combat with private police trying to capture the target before the target is arrested. They also operate in defense of common people when the private police starts causing casualties.
Also obviously they're Zola's new partner. They're about 6ft 8in tall, shorter than the planet's average reptile person but REALLY TALL for a mammalian.
Lastly, here's the first 4 pages sketched. I'll be working on more for the rest of this month but I'm expecting next month to be slow because of kinktober.
I hope a more character focused story is what you're looking for, the action will be dispersed, quick and violent. The bdsm will be long, slow and sensual and the dialogue will be the backbone supporting the whole thing.
See you next month for another update!
