Added 2024-12-11 03:34:51 +0000 UTCI've sorta reframed my thinking a bit over the last week. Through a lot of experimentation, I've realized I'm not good enough at 3D to be able to fully replace my 2D work, but I'm also not good enough at 2D to where I really enjoy the work, so I've realized I really just need to suck it up and get good at both, little by little in parallel.
So anyway I'm back at this piece and making an effort to shore up my weaknesses and learn the fundamentals I keep trying to find shortcuts around. I'm going to try to finish this piece end of this week, but it's a challenging piece so we'll see how it goes. At the very least you'll see a lot of updates and progress this week from me.
