In honor of the new Godzilla vs King Kong trailer that came out today (which I totally invite you to yell your theories at me about) I figured it was a good day to post my mothra cosplay since I finished editing last night! It was like the one productive thing I’ve been able to get my brain to do in three days because...big sad.

I absolutely love kaiju and grew up with Godzilla! Mothra has always been a favorite of mine and when I found these wings on Etsy I wanted to do a cosplay with them! I’m not quite sure about this as the final design, I feel there are elements that did and didn’t work for the shoot. It was also very very cold so I felt very stiff while taking photos outside 😅

I still want to design a mothra with like female Japanese yakuza vibes. Wings being interpreted as like the sleeves of a kimono I don’t know!

But I hope you guys enjoy
