Open a Discord server?
Added 2019-03-15 19:18:55 +0000 UTCI’ve had many requests to open a discord server for the game but I’m still unsure, probably because I’ve never used it myself.
Would it help you to have a discord server so you can chat about the game?
Is it a better way to report bugs or make suggestions than Deviant Art or Patreon? Why is it better?
Do you think it could attract new players?
Do you know if Discord allow adult games? Could the server get closed for sexual content?

2019-03-15 20:49:18 +0000 UTCHaving a Discord server, if you ask me, would make a project of this scale quite a bit easier than if you rely on just DA, Patreon and Github. There are quite a number of kinky communities on discord already - and I know several of them had mentioned a server for this game would be nice - so I think all things considered it would be beneficial. Reporting bugs, I guess that depends, as I'm not sure how it currently is done. If they're placed somewhere on github, then I'd say having them there would be easier. If they're just mingled in with the rest of the comments on DA, then Discord is definitely easier since you can have one dedicated place just for bug reports, and only bug reports. And, don't worry about the adult nature, as other comments have stated Discord has NSFW markings and plenty other adult communities. As long as everything is marked correctly, it should be fine. If you need help setting one up, by the way, the offer I made a while back in our DA notes still stands. I'd be glad to assist in setting it up ^^
2019-03-15 19:36:51 +0000 UTCIt's definitely easier to post there since it's just a message and they can be pinned to the channel. It can attract new players via disboard if it is put up there and servers can be set as nsfw, so sexual context is not only allowed but generally accepted.
