Question and answer part 1! So many to answer! Going chronologically down the original post

1.What is a character you strongly resonate with and why?

Hmmm I’d have to say most recently it’d be kirishima solely because of his backstory that hasn’t been animated yet. But because I don’t want to spoil things i'll go with Percy Jackson and Luna Lovegood. Not only were they both from book series that solidified my belief in magic and wonder for my entire life but each of them taught me valuable lesson in accepting myself. Luna because she was an outcast, so different but always amazed by the little things and always stayed her true weird self and because she did tat it made her valuable and loved which helped me accept uniqueness as a child. And Percy because he was sweet but hotheaded, his strengths were also his flaws. It taught me how to better control my emotional outbursts and help put them towards something productive. I got angry a lot at my parents as a child too because of going through divorce and throughout the Percy’s interactions with his odd linage taught me to embrace the flaws. That’s we are all more human than I could ever understand.

2. What’s your everyday job if you have one?

Cosplay is my everyday job as off 4 months ago! Though before that I worked as a head baker in different establishments for many years. I absolutely adore baking and pastry making. If my cosplay career hadn’t taken off i would have stayed baking. But I’m happy because food service isn’t very forgiving.

3. Do i like living in America?

Yes and no, there’s a lot to unpack there. Do I wish our government and citizens and it’s care for the American people and the environment was better? Yes 100% but on the other hand i think if we look past that for the moment America is beautiful mixing bowl of ethnicities that has created wonderful food, culture and opportunities that are unique to this country. And other than humans the nature and landscape is the most diverse than anything else I’ve seen in the entire world. I love having the protected land of the national parks that unlike older countries might have been destroyed during industrialization.

4. What are my goals in life?

It may seem silly or simple, but truly my goal is just bring smiles to people, make them feel loved and accepted, to help promote education through fun and silliness and to just be content. I love many facets of life, there are so many things to enjoy and I’m just grateful to be here experiencing it. There are just so many small things to appreciate that even if life is hard it makes it worth living. I just want to experience and learn as many things as possible.

5. What inspired me to start doing TikTok? Anything in particular?

So this is rather funny, i started tiktok really for no reason really. I had heard a lot of people talk about it and low cringe it was. And usually in my experience cringe internet things are usually called cringy because people wanna think they are too cool for it so i went to just check it out cause hey whatever I’m cringy too. I didn’t tell anyone i was going on there but there i was sitting in my hilda cosplay thinking alright this seems kind of fun i wanna try. I've always loved acting and portraying characters which Instagram with its picture format was always harder for me to achieve that. So i started just shit posting for fun. And then i just kept doing it because it felt so reeling and no one knew me on the app i felt so free to create whatever i wanted. And somehow i just sort of blew up and gained 1 million in 5 months which astounded me. But tiktok has allowed me to embrace what i really love about cosplay, which is the acting part of it and helped me feel more courage to show off male and fem cosplays. But really yeah i just went there to shit post….

6. What is my favorite cosplay ive done?

Hmmm its so hard to choose and the answer is constantly changing and ill ave favorite for different reasons, maybe it’s because I’m proud of the crafting i did , or maybe because i love to portray the character. Crafting wise my favorites are kid Icarus and ivysaur and favorite to portray are Jack Frost and Baugou. And of course all my original characters just have my heart.

7. Who is a big inspiration for what you do?

Welp huh that’s a good one, there are so many really. I grew up in an artist family so i think really having been surrounded with so much art constantly i just drew inspiration from all of that. I cant think of anyone person in particular. But just any person putting themselves out there, always pushing them self to be better and do better, and who is warm and welcoming, those are the people i admire most. But really i draw a lot of inspiration from history, folklore, nature, science, everything.

8. What’s my skin care routine?

Uhhhh oh my gods I’m so terrible really I don’t really have one, I’m actually the worst and most of the time forget to take my makeup off, please don’t use me as an example lollllll but really drinking a lot of water and cutting out highly processed foods did a wonder for me.

9. Where do i get my fake lashes?

I get them off amazon and they are called Alicrown hair and it comes with three different lashes in the box called galaxy style! And use duo brush on glue to attach them!

10. If i had 24 hours to do whatever i wanted entirely limitless what would those 24 hours look like?

Okay so assuming I wouldn’t need to take care of sleep and hunger needs because really 24 hours is not a lot of time hahah but oof this is hard I’m not sure. I think I’d wanna go heliboarding (helicoptering to snow summits otherwise inaccessible and snowboarding down) on a perfect powder day somewhere crazy beautiful. And then go enjoy and facing awesome meal somewhere outlookng a gorgeous mountain landscape. And stay up watching the stars because I’d be in a place where i could see all of them.

11. Top 3 powers you would like to inherit from your Greek god parent if you were born a demigod?

Hmmmm if i was born Athena child then I would have the power to mathematically create any shape i needed in my head and be able to perfectly translate from 2d to 3D without any math required just intuition. If i was poseidon's child i really really just wanna control water like fuck that’d be awesome. And if i was hecates child it be the magical power of transformation.

12. What programs/apps do i use to edit my tiktok videos?

I don’t use any! I just use what’s provided in tiktok

13. In your opinion, best anime super villain and why?

I really like the villains of the red lotus in season three of legend of Korra. I like villains that work in the gray area and that are sometimes not Truly villainous. I like villains that make me think like the red lotus did. They wanted true freedom and the destruction of governments. And i always found it interesting because some of their points for doing what they did weren’t necessarily wrong they just went about it in an extreme way. I don’t know i like the gray area villains because like in real life not everything is so black and white

14. How do i get to travel so often?

For me my freedom to travel has always been very important to me so i always found a way to make that available to me. In the past i used to move every three months but now because my job resides wherever I have service and WiFi i have the freedom to travel however i please. Which is my dream come true. Though not like expensive travel i mainly just road trip the west coast which I grew up doing with my family. We always just explored the land everywhere we went which is how we I’d the place we do!

15. Do i live with roomates?

Yup i live in Oregon in a house with three other people. And for me Oregon living is cheap compared to California which is where i was raised so I don’t know how it would compare for other people but the living cost of Oregon compare to California brings a sigh of relief to me.

16. Do i have any cheap budgeting tips for a cosplayer in college who doesn’t have much money?

Always solidify your cosplay plans, don’t go overboard with ideas keep tight to the character you want to cosplay most. Breathe and relax into the idea that you might not be able to produce cosplays as fast as someone as else and that’s perfectly fine. The thrift store forever and always will be your best friend in the entire world. Don’t choose cosplays out our you budget unless you plan to spend a long period of time making it.

17. How to hide cosplay things?

I’m not quite sure what this question is asking but i use use like plastic bins to compartmentalize everything?

18. What do I believe spiritually?

Kind of anything and everything. I believe in the idea that there may be other worldly forces working along side of us, since it hasn’t been proven otherwise. I guess the best way to put it is i keep my mind open to anything and everything and take lessons and teachings from every religion or folklore. I believe nature is a powerful force and i feel heavily connected to it in ways ill never be able to describe. But yeah my main belief to just to have fun without hurting others. And until it proven otherwise that creatures and fairies and monster don’t exist sure I believe in them. I mean like… why not (and yes I’m thinking of making more tarot card OCs)
