Yup,seeing Titus force him into the cave alone first,instead of taking charge..and then running in fear from the bear completely shattered Maximus's vision and idea of what a brotherhood Knight is supposed to be. It contradicted everything he idiloized about them. So that,and his complete belittling of Maximus made it easy to look the other way while he passed. Great writing from them!

2025-10-20 07:21:34 +0000 UTCIf you want to start playing Fallout I would recommend starting with Fallout 3 and then going to New Vegas and Fallout 4 after, Fallout 3 explains the world of Fallout, the factions, and the creatures very well, introducing you to all of the classic Fallout elements while New Vegas already expects you to know a lot about the world of Fallout so it skips the introduction and explanations of many things. The first two games are fantastic but they're very old (1996) and aren't first person shooters, they're like top down adventure games so they're harder to get into, but I still love them.

2025-10-15 05:09:02 +0000 UTCThe Ghoul's bullets causing so much damage is a nod to a perk in the game called 'Bloody Mess,' just like the shots (stimpacs) that healed the dog and also Lucy in the first episode. Maximus isn't so much ambitious as he just believes wholeheartedly in the mission of the Brotherhood of Steel and what the Knights are supposed to stand for, he basically idolizes them. Seeing Titus basically act like a whimpering cowardly bitch instead of a knight is what made Maximus just let him die...as he said, "you're not worthy of that armor."
