84 - Crawlin up

Yesterday I tried to continue a wip, but my pen pressure did not work resulting in the type of lines I used in my symbiote oc's sketches so SADLY I had to draw her again.

Of course at the colouring part I was a bit grumpy, cuz figuring out her pattern was a bit challenging xd I thought I should do some 3D texture painting at some point based on her looks, so that would help a lot (also it would be really useful in the future too).

Anyways, I had a reference pic and used it. I added 3 more spikes on her back as I wanted her to have more, so she's closer to a finished state. I went back on previous drawings on her to add the spikes there aswell, but I like how those pictures look already, eventho her design had changed, so I won't make an update on those pics (except some minor things).

I didn't really know what to do for the bg, started drawing random tiles so the perspective would be visible and the pose would be a bit more understandable. Then I drew a bed-like thing or more like a blanket kinda stuff. I also added some curved lines to the edges, it gives off a feeling like the viewer just opened their eyes and see this, so I went with it. I probably publish this version and put the first one onto pixiv. I also used photoshop for bluring parts, so the focus and the depth would be better and boi, it improves the pic so much. 

The first 2 pics are the same btw, the difference is one is a bit blurry and the other's sharper. That's because one was resized in PaintTool SAI and the other in Photoshop (the sharper is from photoshop).
I haven't really decided which one should get published.. I also thought I should be publishing all of these pics of her soon, cuz it's piling up xd and also cuz I think I'm pretty satisfied with her looks (still need to figure out her leg part tho).
I thought of revealing and tweeting about these said drawings at feb14 as a lil celebration of my nsfw twitter's anniversary.

Anyways, I'm liking how this turned out. Eventho it has flaws like the colours got out under the lineart and all. I like how messy it looks and gives a Pixiv kinda drawing vibe for me. I love those on that site. Good stuff.
