Harvest mice-pocket calendar cover.

It's time for that random post with very different and very sfw art I post on here once in a blue moon.

Today's my moms birthday (rounded 57 winters on earth) and I've yet again made her a custom pocket calendar cover. Her keywords for inspiration for this one was: plants and animals of the garden. While harvest mice usually don't live in your backyard figured they where close enough.

Made with: watercolors, pitt oil pencils, color pencils and a little bit of white posca marker.

Thank you, D! Yeah, the lines stay in place! I use the Pitt oil base pencils from Farber Castell and I've tried using them both on water color paper and regular thicker paper. Only downside for me is that the tip wears down quite fast so I have to sharpen the pencil quite often to keep a crisp line. But it makes nice texture either way! :)

Ooh this is sweet!! I'm intrigued by your use of "oil pencils" - I assume you can watercolor over them without smearing them? I may have to try those!
