Patreon Changes...

So some people might have heard that Patreon is making a few changes to how pledges work. Effectively it means that you guys (the Patrons) will be paying the fees that I (the Creator) normally pay. This is not necessarily good for me, as all my pledge levels are quite low and it is $1 pledges that are hit hardest by this change. Effectively Patreon will charge .35c plus 2% of every pledge to the Patron, so the $1 pledge becomes in reality a $1.37 pledge, the $5 pledge a $5.40 pledge fees included. In theory this should be good for me, as it means I see all of that $1 or $5 pledge rather than 80% as it has been, but this could also scare people off pledging to multiple Creators for low amounts as it can indeed add up. Now most of you pledge at the $5 level, so I don't expect the effect here to be great at all. (Thank you btw) BUT if any of you are looking at cancelling because of the fees introduced please contact me by message here or on Twitter/DA and we can work something out. (And if you all decide to cancel, well I'll have to look at another platform)
