The MV, dance and live performance were nothing short of fantastic!! ⭐ One thing we noticed was the huge difference between their style and even the studio they use for the dance practice back in 2015 with Dope vs in 2022 with Run BTS - they've come such a long way, it's so inspiring! 🥰 but their effort remains the same!! 🤩 What did you guys think when you first heard DOPE?

It is THE song, a very nostalgic one and the song that got BTS their first music show win back on 5th May 2015 and this choreography and dance practice is legendary, sharp! Music shows are basically programs on channels where the groups/artists who have recently released songs/albums go onto these music shows to perform and promote their songs. BTS clinched their first music show win approximately 2 years after their debut and it was a long time coming. They were all so overwhelmed and the staff were all so proud as well. It goes to show that even though BTS address specific issues faced by Korean society, those issues and messages resonate with the larger global culture too. I really think that's part of what helped endear them to so many ARMY around the world. A couple of things, because you asked: all of them except JHope wear glasses or contacts for vision correction. This was before military service though, so that may have changed now. Their official heights are listed as: RM: 181 cm (5'11"), Jin: 179.5 cm (5'10.6"), V: 179 cm (5'10.4"), JHope & JK: 177 cm (5'9.5"), Jimin & Suga: 174 cm (5'8.5"). There is some contention about these though, as many believe RM is really 6', and Jimin said he'd grown a little and is officially taller than Suga now. As for 1theK, that is a KPop distribution channel. In earlier days BigHit worked with them to post some of BTS' videos. 1theK had a wider reach, which benefitted BigHit and BTS, even though ad revenue would go to 1theK. As BigHit and BTS grew, they used 1theK less and less, posting on their official channel more. One thing to keep in mind, BTS debuted in 2013, but they really didn't start to acheive financial success and security until 2016. Those first three years were a constant struggle and fight for survival. I know you've talked about watching Rise of Bangtan, which will help put that into perspective, but also, BTS released a biography "Beyond the Story" where they tell their story. It's a fantastic book, and has links to their vlogs and videos along the way. Every ARMY should have this on their bookshelf. I would love to send you a copy if you have a PO Box.

Jimin and Jungkook have multiple while the other 5 only have the 7 tattoo that all 7 of them got together. Jimin has the number 13 (wrist), Phases of the Moon (back), Nevermind (ribs), Young (left elbow), Forever (right elbow), Youth (behind ear) and the 7 on his finger. Jungkook has a bunch of small tattoos on his hand including A R M Y, A smiley, heart, the ARMY logo, etc, he has 0613 on his arm (debut date), 7 behind his ear, a sleeve of all sorts of tattoos like Bulletproof, a mic, etc. He has had some covered up on his arm wtih other stuff.

I love how the song’s all about hard work and chasing your dreams—makes me feel like I can do anything (as long as I stretch first)

BTS ate them up so you guys should definitely check it out. It’s a dance battle Jhope and Jimin A rap battle RM he actually disses another idol during it 🤭 Yes a lot groups respect BTS but there a lot who were hating too And then the group battle with all the members You don’t need to know any songs but Danger the group song they sing. Also love your energy and enthusiasm, plus noting little details in the dance practices (or other performances) that I missed. Dope is one of my fave live performances of theirs from their Busan concert. Tbh I can't remember where I first watched or heard Dope, but the energy for it is always insane (mine and theirs hahahaha)
