I'm really pumped to be continuing our series on the history of the Fremen. Already the films have done a great job in bringing their society to life but there is only so much that can be crammed into the format of a movie. On the flipside the books and supplemental Encyclopedia are packed with lore but this can be quite the task to read. My hope is that this and other episodes on the Fremen successfully combines the two for both an educational and accessible look at life on Arrakis!

I've excited to anounce we've been working on a series to explore the history of medieval africa through the tale of the Mali empire and its african knights. Below is the script draft:
Intro
Who are the Knights of Africa?
In the western world, the popular understanding of the Medieval Era is limited and caricatured. It casts its light on Europe with but a few flickering illuminations of the surrounding regions. This is the era of peasant archers, noble knigh...

Introduction
You know what hoplites looked like, but do you know what Greek armies smelled like?
Hoplites are iconically depicted as gleaming armies of bronze. However the dirty little secret which our visual mediums fail to depict, but which ancient authors are keen to point out, is that such armies reeked of fish and onion. So much so, jokes the 4th century playwright Aristophanes, that one could distinguish between a nation at peace and one at war by the pugnan...

We launch ourselves into the 40K Universe with a True Size series on a Codex Compliant Space Marine Chapter. With this new Unreal Engine 5 powered format we can render armies of truly insane size and I look forwards to seeing what this will mean for the trajectory of our episodes.
Any suggestions on True Size topics?

We have silently been building an army of frenchmen in the shadows. This has been a massive endeavor and will actually require multiple videos for us to present the entire organizational structure of just 1 of Napoleon's Army Corps. In the first episode which comes out in the next week we will focus on just the infantry from the basic soldier all the way up to the largest pure infantry formation of the Brigade. In following episodes we will look at the cavalry and the artillery before then fi...

In this documentary, we delve into the Napoleonic era from the ground level by seeing what it was like for the average soldier to join the French Army. In this first episode we cover the process of recruitment and training. Future episodes in this series will then look at daily life in Napoleon's Army from camp life to combat. This coverage will hopefully give you greater context for the history of the Napoleonic Wars and what it was like to be in a Napoleon Battle scene like Austerlitz...

In this history documentary we turn our attention to Winter War of 1939 which saw the Red Army invade Finland. While the conflict appeared one sided at the outset, the Finnish defenders stunned their world by holding the Soviet juggernaut at bay. In this Units of History series, we will explore the soldiers who made this feat of arms possible in the face of the Russian Invasion of Finland.
It is November 1939, and Europe is consumed by war. Poland has fallen to the invading arm...

From the city of Hattusa, in what is today Turkey, emerged one of the largest empires of the Late Bronze Age: the Kingdom of the Hittites. Its warriors were well equipped professionals, hardened by a life in the highlands and supplied by some of the finest armories of its age. Thus equipped, the Kings of Hattusa would have a formidable force with which to challenge the reigning powers of Egypt and Assyria. Today let us review the origins, equipment, organization, ...

This begins with general game theories of attack and defense as well has high level strategic moves which must be considered to increase one's chances of success. Ultimately, however, the battle must be fought. To this end we cover the playbook for modern breaching operati...
