New Video is Up! Lauren Chen Said Some Bad Stuff About Refugees

A new video is up, and partially thanks to your generous support. I'm hoping to start doing more short videos like this in-between the big ones so there aren't any huge gaps in my content. 

Some fun notes on this video:

- While watching the original Lauren Chen video for the first time I had to stop it six times! I wish I could say I was strong enough to sit through the whole thing, but this one was too infuriating.

- The original recording of the audio for this was over 30 minutes! Most of what was cut was either unnecessary tangents, me repeating myself, or in a few cases, places where I got the facts wrong. Yes, I do try and fact check videos before and after writing/producing them.

- One thing I wanted to include, but didn't, was how Lauren's rhetoric has changed since the last time I checked in on her. She's really taken to using the term "globalist", which I assume is the Glenn Beck influence since joining Blaze. "Globalist" is most often used as an anti-Semitic dog whistle, though I suspect Lauren doesn't realize this.

- Another cut was me theorizing on my part that young people like Lauren have no clue of the toxic history of some of their talking points. They credulously swallow some of the explanations, and repeat them for a ready audience. While some people may accuse Lauren of being a grifter, I think even if that were true, she's probably at least partially grifted herself into actually believing some of the crap she says.

- I also cut out a spoiler for the topic of my next video. Part of me is worried someone might copy it, but a bigger part is worried my deadline of two weeks or so may not be as realistic as I'm hoping.
