Weekly update
Added 2018-07-04 03:06:00 +0000 UTCI always try to keep an even keel, but this is a shitty situation and I'm (I think rightfully) fucking pissed. So Patreon suspended the page last week, during the last week of the month. Then they dragged their feet in reviewing it until after the month flipped over.
But it's cool. It's okay. It's fine. Big breaths. Huff puff.
First of all, logistics: I'm going to get the game guide for .4x hopefully early tomorrow.
The other thing is that out of an abundance of caution I won't be publishing a free edition here. I'll have it up on my tumblr dev blog, but out of paranoia I'm not posting it openly because I don't need another golden shower from Patreon. Google is your friend.
But I do have a new exciting announcement. I was hoping to hold off until it was ready for release, but if you've been following Goodnight Kiss for a while you'll probably notice it's been building toward the inevitable climax for a while. The main focus for the next update is going to be the endings. I might squeeze in a couple additions to old scenes, but the main focus will be on creating a panoply of different endings. I have four main ones figured out and they're defined by your relationships with all the characters.
After this it won't be the end of Goodnight Kiss. I still have a few more content updates I want to do. But they'll be smaller. Because I'm working on a new game.
For that I'm planning on a release.
The Power of Confidence is an upcoming adult game where you play as a young man who has been unlucky in love... at least until he discovered the power inside himself, the power to bend women to his will, the Power of Confidence.
The game contains more deliberate versions of many of the ideas I've tinkered with in Goodnight Kiss.
The screen shot above is from one of the two adult scenes I'll have in the .1 release. I spent a long time thinking about it, and I've actually started active development after I released the last major version of Goodnight Kiss. I'm shooting to have the first version ready next week for $5+ donors, same deal.
The last few days have been very draining for me (for reasons other than the Patreon thing, but that doesn't help at all). I'm gonna go lay down.

2018-07-11 21:06:39 +0000 UTCTried the game. Really liked the multiple characters and variability, but I was expecting a lot more ntr/cheating scenes with the wife or eventually Emily (I actually only got one single render with the wife). Too bad, there was a lot of potential for more fun.
