Hi there, the past days we were making some sound testing
The adaptative music system works perfectly, now the music can correctly fade in and out to different versions without lossing sync
So now a stage theme can do something like switching to a calmer version if there are no enemies around, switching to an intense version when combat is engaged, and switching to a muffled version when an enemy is being eaten
Doesn't that sound like a good idea?
But! What we made is only a test, it is still in no condition of being shared, since our priority was maintaining the sync of the music and fading in and out properly, so the songs our musican made for us to test were extremelly basic and simple
Aside from that we implemented another sound system that adds variety to the sound effects by randomly shifting their pitch every time they are played, making the game sound way less repetitive
About myself, im working in the new assets the next showcase will have
That includes some new things the old enemies will be able to do, and new background assets and tiles
