Gimmick ideas
Added 2023-05-19 19:22:20 +0000 UTCI've been thinking in features and gimmicks to make the game more engaging and entertaining.
it would had been easier just adding conveyor belts and springs but wanted to add something that would fit better with the core gameplay and gimmick of the game
I had 3 ideas for now
There could be platforms that depending on how heavy is the player could break, sink, open, etc. So that way the character would have different results depending on how many enemies managed to eat
I also thought in walls that obstruct the way that could only be broken by throwing enemies to it, cause the way Pherl sends enemies flying by kicking them
And finally levers, buttons, cords that activate mechanisms that are too far to being reached, so Pherl would have to spit a skull to activate them from far away
Also there are the old ideas of eating enemies that have keys and cellphones
And having to reach the door before the key dissolves or alerting other enemies with the sound of the phone coming from Pherl's belly

Hmmm... it's hard thinking of more vore themed mechanics for a platformer, the only one I can think of you already have listed down. My initial thoughts include hidden/different paths depending on choice of character, or a room where you have to eat a certain amount of a specific enemy without eating the wrong type.
