Inspirational Insights - Orlando

Before we'll get the Retex Poll results, let's dive into some inspirational stuff.

If you are into historical societies and fashions, I strongly recommend you a 1992 Sally Potter movie entitled Orlando. Starring Tilda Swinton.

It's a loose adaptation of Wirginia Woolf's novel, which tells a story of a young man born in Elizabethan England that swore to the Queen he would never grow old. Therefore he lives through the centuries observing how the World changes right before him.

The costumes are nicely done here in terms of details but they are more importantly very impressive in scale and the visual effect they create. They're designed by an award-winning creator - Sandy Powell.

It's a kind movie that leaves a lot of things unclear and it's very thought-provoking. There is not that much talking during the scenes. It's also full of costume-oriented sense of humour.
