Work In Progress - Back on track. Patterns

Though it was a really hard week I managed to catch up and redo all the materials. It was very frustrating to do it the second time. I also wanted to thank you guys for supporting me even when something goes wrong ;) It means a lot! (Thanks Neeko and Rae for your kind comments).
I started to do the embroidery on the main red-ish fabric. If you were interested the process looks like this:
- I draw the visible parts of the patterns on the original painting in a vector software like Corel Draw or AutoCad etc.
- Then I scale/rotate and move these fragments to my UVW map plan.
- I fill the missing parts by copying rotating and scaling the existing elements to get the surface covered with the pattern.
You can see that the pattern parts on the skirt are approx 2x too big in relation to the bodice, so I will have to redo the skirt and scale the whole pattern down.
Also what is still missing is the back lacing of the bodice and some extra seams and wrinkles to do. The wrinkles you see now on the model are kind of parametric-generated - some of them are ok, but some of them have to be replaced with nicer ones :) I do the wrinkles using height map only - that means they only appear on the normal channel. Sometimes I add just a tiny bit of them to the diffuse channel.
This weekend I'll be doing the sleeves and playing a bit with the details.
