Important Update for iOS Users: Changes to Subscription Pricing

We wanted to take a moment to inform you about an upcoming change that will affect some of our patrons, specifically those who subscribe using the Patreon app on iOS devices.
For context, Apple imposes a fee on all in-app purchases made through their platform and, starting in November 2024, these fees will now also be applied on membership prices when pledging through the Patreon app on the iOS store.
Unfortunately, this means that tier subscription prices will increase for iOS users. For a breakdown of how the fees are being calculated, please refer to the following charts:
Now we want to be completely transparent, this is not a change we endorse, but it is one that is out of our hands due to Apple’s and Patreon's policies.
While this change will affect those using the iOS app, we want to emphasize that there are still ways to support VoidBound without being impacted by this price increase.
If possible, we encourage you to consider using the Patreon website or the Android app, where this fee does not apply. This will allow you to continue your support at the current pricing without the additional cost.
All in all, we want to make sure you’re aware of all your options so you can choose what works best for you.
