Hiya folks,
And we're back, from our little vacation! The team took a much deserved breather and now with our batteries recharged, we're back in the game. Speaking of which, Patrons we sincerely hope you had/are having an enjoyment filled experience playing the Overhaul patch. After all, there is more around the corner!
Work has already begun on the next portion of the outstanding content that didn't make the cut in time for the initial patch release and will add additional quests, H-scenes, lore and at the same, based on feedback, refresh existing themes to make them more RPGish in nature. For now though, lets unpack what got done this week.
As usual, we start with the art and this week the artist's focus was squarely set on delivering color to certain sordid content, quests/scenarios for which are otherwise ready to be deployed. He intends to leave no stones unturned making sure that the naughty stuff makes to it to a PC near you soon!
Writers have also started making headway, digging into new adventures like slime quest, auction house scenario, pharmacy heist, to name a few, but not limited to just those. Work is also underway to tie up the story line of the new zone while simultaneously laying down groundwork for the next zone(s).. but we'll keep a lid on the specifics for now.
Finally, our coder kept himself plenty busy plugging holes in the patch making sure all bugs got squashed, but thankfully, issues reported were mostly of the "mild" variety and was able to dedicate most of his time designing new characters and enemy mobs. The idea is to keep things diverse on the battlefield, both species and skills wise, hence the quest for finding the "interesting" never really ends.
That about covers it all for this report. Efforts this month will be heavily concentrated towards making preparations for a refined public release of the Henosis Overhaul patch, something that is planned to happen within a few weeks. Stay tuned to this space for more details on it.
