First, I'd like to thank everyone for supporting this project. It's incredible how our community has grown from barely filling up a four-seater sedan to needing a bus (a small one)! Your support means the world, especially as the game is still in its early stages with much more to come.
The Birth of The Halo Project
The Halo Project wasn't born out of necessity but from my love for mind control-themed adult games. Over the years, I’ve enjoyed many games in this genre. However, none of them quite ticked all of my “Dream Game Boxes.” That’s why I created The Halo Project. Believe it or not, it started nearly six years ago as a small prototype with a different engine and almost everything else. The only constants have been the key elements I wanted in the game:
A harem of 10+ girls to start
A mostly sandbox (open-world) experience
Tech control (sci-fi themed)
MC girls join you, altering their lifestyles completely
MC girls help you achieve goals (corrupting other girls, opening up choices)
Corruption that progresses slowly
Bondage scenes (personal preference)
The Halo Project will ensure all these elements are included, but it will take time to develop fully. While you wait, I’d like to share some other games that have inspired The Halo Project.
Nano Control by SmilingDog
Nano Control is one of the closest inspirations for The Halo Project. It ticks most of the boxes, except for the number of girls. You move to a small town, receive a nanobot serum to mind control girls, and start controlling all the girls in the village. The sandbox element is present, though not exactly as I envision, but it’s still a favorite. My only wish was for more post-enslavement content, as it feels a bit lacking.
Jikage Rising by SmilingDog
This ongoing series is a Naruto parody with significant post-enslavement content. Your entire harem from the first arc is utilized in the subsequent arc, which is very cool. However, the harem living aspect wasn't what I expected. The game is finishing soon, and I hope it includes a harem in a palace setup, even if it’s towards the end.
Glassix by Gaweb Studio
Glassix is arguably my all-time favorite and the closest inspiration for The Halo Project. It features a vast number of girls to corrupt and deep content. It includes suspicion mechanics, upgrades, and a purpose-driven corruption system. My only gripe is the lack of a mid-game harem system. Glassix 2 is on the horizon, and I’m eagerly anticipating it.
A Spell For All by cmacleod42
This game stands out with its real-porn art and extensive map and storyline. The game involves charming girls and contending with an enemy also charming girls, which adds an interesting dynamic. However, it lacks a mid-game harem support system, with charm being an instant, one-click affair.
Lab Rats and Lab Rats 2 by Vren
Lab Rats features a well-balanced progression system where you use different serums to corrupt your family and close friends. The sequel, Lab Rats 2, scales this up with the protagonist owning a company to produce more serums. While you can enslave girls, it mostly unlocks BDSM scenes rather than serving mid-game utility.

Looking Forward
For those who’ve read this far, a little insider info: The Halo Project basically combines Glassix's depth with Nano Control’s mansion feature. Expect a lot of post-enslavement content—fully corrupting one girl is just the beginning. The Halo Project will eventually have a kind of base building vibe, where you are upgrading other machinery that helps you corrupt more girls faster. It may not make complete sense yet since the content is still in development, but it’s something to look forward to.
