The Phoenix Egg

Hello! Today's request is based on a patron request that I thought was really cool.

When I saw this request, I thought that it would be a fun to revisit one of my classic sprites and give it a second life! This animation could be used to introduce the phoenix as a cool boss fight-- maybe you have other ideas for how to use it?

Note: The main phoenix sprite was originally released as part of the Time Fantasy Monsters expansion. Since this animation is meant to work with that sprite, I included it on the sheet for convenience.

This sheet includes multiple animations. It's arranged in the RPGMaker format, but if you're using a different engine, you should still be able to use the animations. I'll explain how the sheet is organized:

(Reminder if you don't use RPGMaker: the sheet has eight "characters": four on the top row and four on the bottom row. within each character, the animations are arranged as four frames, vertically. There are three columns within each character: these are used for walking animations and I have left the side columns blank for the unique animations which go top-to-bottom.)

The first "animation" in the top row simply has the two still frames of the egg: intact and the cracked shell.
The other three animations in the top row are meant to work in sequence: the egg cracking, the phoenix rising from the egg, and then the phoenix opening its wings.
The first two animations in the bottom row are alternatives to the last animation from the top: one includes the eggshell and shadow and one has the shadow.
The last two parts of the bottom row are the full phoenix sprite, one with the shadow and one without. The previous special animations are designed to transition into this sprite.
