Man... is there really only one more month in this year? Insane... well, you know the drill-- let's recap this month's productivity!

Elements Patreon Pre-Releases:

It's pretty clear that this month's focus was all about the upcoming Elements character expansion. Productivity for normal patron requests had to take a back seat if I want to get this thing done on time-- but hopefully that isn't a problem and the special pre-releases were something that you could enjoy and make use of.

As I type this now, I have two sets of pieces left to finish the expansion: the legs and the tops. Everything else is finished-- there's a bunch of new hairstyles that I'm looking forward to sharing! The legs should go fairly quickly, but the torso and arms is the most complex set to animate, so I've been putting those ones off for last.

The plan: I'm expecting to get these last pieces finished up over the next two/two-and-a-half weeks. We should have a content-complete patron beta before Christmas! The goal was to release the whole expansion before Christmas-- so I'll count a full patron beta as a victory. 😚

After that, I'll need to put together promo stuff etc-- so fully publishing it to the stores will likely be in the first week or so after the new year. 🤧 Would be cool to get it out in the few days between Christmas and New Year-- but that might be a bit too ambitious, so I'm not gonna aim for it.

Also-- the expansion pack will launch with an updated version of the character generator! My buddy Locke has put some work into it and we've added some requested features: like saving/loading characters, adding the new skin tones to the default settings, and overall the software is a lot faster now! Looking forward to sharing that with you soon.
