schedule update for july

Hey guys, sorry to do this, but I'm gonna cut back on some regular posts for the rest of this month.

tldr: I'm gonna do one patron release each week (instead of two) for the next few weeks before returning to regular schedule for August.

I mentioned in my previous release that there was a death in my family last week.

Thank you for all the warm comments. Because of your kindness I feel comfortable making a post like this, instead of pushing myself and stressing. I really appreciate the understanding that you've shown.

Details:

My stepfather passed away. For the funeral in a couple of weeks from now, there's gonna be a big family gathering and a bbq thing. At my mom's house-- so of course she's very stressed out about cleaning and housework (many house repairs have gone ignored over the past year while my stepfather was sick), and taking care of the animals, and then getting everything ready for an event like that. Plus helping clean and sort my stepfather's belongings-- a lot of the kind of unpleasant and expected work that comes with an event like this.

And now that she's alone with this: well you can imagine. I'll need to help her a lot with house stuff to get ready for this event.

(Not to mention my own house could use some attention, since it looks like some family might end up staying here for a night too... I need to do some serious cleaning -_-)

So I'm gonna be busy going back and forth between my mom's house and helping her with a lot.

Also-- I had dentist surgery this morning, and I'm only going to be able to chew on one side of my mouth for the next month. This actually doesn't affect my schedule in any way, but I just wanted to whine about it-- 🤣. It's an extra annoyance on top of everything else. 🤐

So...

I've decided that I'm just going to cut the regular patron releases to one a week until this is over. This way we will still have our regular releases; I think this will relieve some stress for me without seeming like too big of a change for patrons.

I'm thinking that we can just treat this like my summer vacation. For the last couple summer vacations, I was able to fill up with pre-scheduled releases: orc week and lo-bit character week.

This summer's events are unfortunate and unplanned, but I hope that spreading out the "vacation" like this will be a way to keep up with the releases to not scare away patrons 😝.
