Hello! I have something new for you today!

This little collection expands on the Merfolk Sprite Base that I released at the beginning of this month.

This set has eight mer-people. Really there are only two, but they have a bunch of different color variations, so you can populate your underwater locations. These are meant to work as generic-looking merfolk NPCs.

There are two versions -- one version has shadows underneath the characters, which would help ground them. I noticed that without the shadow, it was sometimes hard to figure out what tile the floating characters were meant to be 'standing' on. The shadow version should solve that issue.

I have some ideas for more merfolk sprites too-- some more distinctive characters that can be used in more important roles in your game world. I want to make a merfolk king and queen for example. I'll be back with those soon-- maybe this weekend or on Monday.
