Cave Ladders

This tile add-on is made to be used with the original cave dungeon tilesets. This one is fairly simple, as it was built using existing tiles. This set has free-standing ladders that go up and down, as well as some ladders that are placed against the wall tiles.
As usual with tile add-ons, these are arranged in a regular grid so you can easily add them to any existing tileset. I hope you find these to be useful!

I would personally I would program an event when the character hits the bottom, the screen flashes black and the character is standing on the top level.
