Important Info for Patrons Pledging in British Pounds £
Added 2020-11-06 06:37:15 +0000 UTCIf you are a Patron who is paying via British Pounds and you are having issues accessing your pledge tier rewards you will want to change your pledge currency to US dollars following the steps in the help article below.

Patreon recently changed the options for the currencies that users can pledge in and some people have been having issues with it. Switching back to US dollars seems to have fixed the issue for everybody so far. I will be reaching out to the Patreon support staff to see if this issue can be fixed soon. Right now though the easiest way to still get your rewards seems to be pledging with your currency set to US dollars. I have yet to receive any reports of people pledging in euros having difficulty accessing pledge rewards but if you are having trouble please reach out to me and I will make sure you get your rewards sent to you. Thank you for the announcement. Yes, Patreon changed the options for the currencies, but I think no one should have any problems with this.

2020-11-07 06:36:26 +0000 UTCMy bank suddenly started completely blocking every charge. I had to start going through PayPal to pledge. Called my bank to tell them to okay the charge and they told me there was nothing they could do! Their system was automatically flagging every charge as a fraud risk.
