If one was so inclined to take the pilgrimage to the oasis, they would find what remains of the tribute to her greatness. While a dangerous and thirsty journey, many thousands frequently took the path to her remains, even after the Great City fell so many years ago.
Little of her remains visible, but those who stop at the oasis kiss upon her hand and ask her for safe passage through the Endless Dunes, the journey made so much more difficult due to the city's demise. Yet, fortune can still be found by crossing the desert with such highly coveted exotic goods from faraway lands, if one could stomach the heat and the dust.
Even still, there are more dangerous threats in the Endless Dunes than thirst and exhaustion, as the oases of the desert have begun to dry, and in their place, such horrific predators have taken their place. With a thirst for the water of travelling merchants, these predators are ferocious, consuming any who wander near their burrows and nests.
