Dam Bridge

"It's been too long." S'aersweh thought to herself, as her Tabaxi agility allowed her to scale the rocky cliff face far above the riverbed. "Their encroachment knows no bounds. This river used to stand tall all the length of the Sirran'na Jungle until they came with their axes, their stones, their cities, their castles. The rest of the Sirran'na Druids refuse to take a stand, but someone must, lest we have no more trees to tend.
She deftly lept a gap above the watchmen at the docks. Her left paw dug deep into the sandstone with her claws to bring her back to the face of the wall, knocking some small stones loose and causing her breath to escape her as she hugged the cliff face as best she could.
The quiet clack of rocks falling towards the dock was enough to cause the watchmen to pause their conversations about atrocities to nature and look upwards, waving their torch to try to identify the source of the noise.
After what seemed like a minute of barely breathing, hugging the cliff wall as tightly as possible with all 4 sets of claws embedded as far as she dared to sink them, they shrugged and went back to their conversation in their native city tongue. She dared to move again, finally making it to the dam, her weapon of choice against the cities.
From the top of the dam, she started her incantations. She danced over the water, passionately chanting in rhythm with her movements, circling her arms above her, her tail whipping around in an almost wondrous choreography. As she did, a green glow rose from the water, taking the shape of an immense spectral python, uncoiling itself from the depths.
The watchmen, alerted by the sudden light above the dam, and the increasing volume of the chanting, began with haste to intercept her. They called out to her, waved their torches, and ran as fast as they could.
"You're too late..." She hissed. The spectral avatar crashed into the dam and the torrent of water engulfed her, her purpose fulfilled.
