“Wrapped up in thick furs against the cold, you spy the jagged remains of a broken tower up ahead through the driving snow.

Isolated and lonely this tower now lays sundered. A mistake that shouldn’t have been. The stories you know speak of a group of frost giants that happened to pass by the tower, paying it no heed, when they were set upon by a White Dragon. The resulting fight ended up levelling the watch tower as a frost giant, clutched within the dragons claws, was smashed in to the side of it.

Since that fight the tower has lain in ruin with no attempt to reinstate it. There are rumours that the tower was actually the surface lookout for an underground city of dwarves that mined nearby. But if there is an entrance to the undersurface it hasn’t been found by any who have been forced to use the tower as refuge over the years.

As the wind picks up even more you reach the remains of the tower and are able to hunker down against the cold stone for some respite. That’s when you hear what sounds like uneven foot steps and a scrapping of metal on stone. You’re not alone ...”

Hey all,

I hope you’ll like this latest and last snow map, perfect for those trudging around in the colder climates. Being able to do these different themes over the recent months has really helped me to focus on learning different skills.

I was really happy with how the snow flurries came out on this map but can’t take all the credit, that was the amazing Daniel at Isometric Worlds who gave me that handy tip.

I also threw in a couple of extra variations because I'm nice like that.
