How Ads on YouTube Work

Note: there won't be a behind-the-scenes script for this one as I never had a chance to review it by hand.

2017-04-06 02:44:35 +0000 UTCAccording to Grey, the creator gets paid nothing if the viewer immediately skips the ad. I use Adblock all the time but when I'm watching on my Apple TV I skip Youtube ads right away whenever possible, so at least for that type it probably depends on the consumer; are they the type to proactively skip ads or would they watch them if they didn't have Adblock?
