This song sounds like a soundtrack to an epic fail vine meme.
Imagine a guy doing something that's obviously going to result in him getting hurt. The music starts swelling, he gets hit in the nuts and then "Ooh, look what you made me do
Look what you made me do
Look what you just made me do"

If Taylor really thought "I don't give a dam about my reputation" she wouldn't blame loosing her rep on others. It is so hard to tell when she is acting/being sarcastic or not, as your other reviews on her songs have pointed out, especially "Blank Space" https://youtu.be/2WbfJt7lSkg?t=540 I guess there is no such thing as bad publicity (I mean bad reputation) when it comes to Taylor Swift, if the Youtube viewcount is any indication.

the outro song made me laugh so hard, you might as well dub it over "look what you made me do" 😂

I can think of a T. Swattle song that is an "I'm evil now"-type called "Look What You Made Me Do" that actually is interesting/good, but it would help if she sounded as if she enjoyed being "bad". Like "You revealed that I'm actually kind of a crappy person, so now I get to show my true colors" type of idea. She just sounds so pissy about it and makes it look incredibly lame.

Not gonna lie, I was super-stoked and happy when I saw that this was the song up for the latest review. And it delivers (although the song kind of grew on me with a few listens, before the video ruined it again).

I always hear "Me Too" by Meghan Trainor in my mind after hearing this song. I guess they both sort of fall into that 2000-and-late will.i.am style of music.

... I hadn't heard this song before, and I'm pretty shocked that the 'old x can't come to the phone they're dead' meme actually came from the song and not... just a rando making fun of the edgelord-ness of it all.

Aaaaaaaaaand of course she vaulted to the top of the Hot-100 (although I'm not complaining because Despacito did NOT need to break the Mariah/Boyz II Men record).

I would love a full music video of this set to clips of Butters.

"New Taylor" is an even more pathetic rebrand than Sasha Fierce.

Calvin and Hobbes and Cabaret references in one review? Glorious

I mostly agree, although my girlfriend and her daughter both love the song to death. The replacement "Thriller" music lined up with the dancing remarkably well.

I sleep at night telling myself will.i.am's souless, minimalist electrolash sound didn't spread in influence and it rather served as an island amongst itself (albeit one that demanded a lot of attention) in 2009 and I don't appreciate you bursting this misguided bubble of mine!. Also I'm really holding out for an eventual OHW episode for Estelle's American Boy.

"Taylor Swift does not wear celebrity well" - Todd's "Shake It Off" review, now more true than ever! Man, is this song boiled garbage. I hope maybe we'll get a Right Said Fred OHW out of it though? ;)

Taylor has officially gone over to the dark side of pop stardom: courting drama for the sake of clicks. I guess when you're as big a target as she is, being hated is still better than being ignored.
