Hey Todd, got a suggestion for One Hit Wonderland. How bout Rick Derringer's "Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo" from 1973?

This is on German radio all the time and as I just found out also at number one in Germany. So I started the video and was highly irritated about the English lyrics. I never heard the Justin Bieber version here. The Spanish version is at number one and the Bieber version isn't even in the top 100. I think the song is ok but I suspect I don't want to here it anymore in a few weeks.

Love your reviews Todd but I think you said that Bieber doesn't sing in Spanish, which he actually does for the chorus. I'm a native Spanish speaker and I didn't even realize it was him singing in Spanish at first his accent was so seamless.

The Desperado clip at the end made me laugh more than it should have.

I know enough Spanish that the first time I heard this song (on YT, the version without Bieber) my reaction was "Wow, this is only a #1 hit because the parents of Bieber's teen fans don't know enough Spanish to know what the lyrics mean." It is very dumb, sure, but I totally get what you're saying about it being a breath of fresh air on American markets, it's one of the few songs that's fun to listen to in terms of the music and, yes, the "holy crap did he really say THAT"ness of it.
