A note about YouTube
Added 2017-04-04 22:06:56 +0000 UTCRight now, there's a lot of controversy about advertising on YouTube. I don't know the gory details because I try to keep out of YouTuber drama, it gives me a headache. But, there's a good chance that advertisers may be leery of using YouTube as a platform for their ads. A lot of people may lose a lot of money as ad rates drop, and I'm not clear on this, but YouTube may be preemptively demonetizing a lot of videos if they think it'll scare people off. If true, this is going to negatively impact the viability of YouTube as a source of income for a lot of good people.
Fortunately, I don't have to worry about that, because I have you guys.

2017-04-04 22:13:24 +0000 UTCIt is unfortunate :/ I wish I could support all of my creators, but even at $1 for each of you it is a bit strenuous. But YouTube has been a terrible place to make money for some time now. Ad revenue has been dropping steadily for me and it's reached a point where even if I get 1000+ impressions, I no longer make $1. YouTube Red still yields money but there aren't enough people on it to make much of a difference in revenue. I think things are going to go to very dark places in YouTube land.
