Yeah, about the whole "Rae Sremmurd getting good reviews" thing. It's not exclusive to Rae Sremmurd. Just about every trap rapper out right now is getting amazing reviews from all these hoity-toity review sites like pitchfork. Look up any review on there for Cheef Keef, Migos, or Future.

Re: songs Mike Will Made It has produced. Back in 2013, he produced Li'l Wayne's "Love Me", while this year, he did the beat for Beyoncé's "Formation". Rae Sremmurd also have a connection to "Formation": Swae Lee came up with the titular line (albeit minus the word 'ladies' initially), and Slim Jxmmi came up with the Red Lobster line. Good for them.

And you know the stupid thing about Rae Sremmurd (amongst many stupid things)? The fact that their two big songs before this one happened, No Flex Zone and No Type, completely contradict themselves! Yea, No Flex Zone, a song supposedly about how you're not supposed to show off or whatever, is made up entirely of those 2 bragging about all the stuff they have. One line, seriously, is "Went shopping 'cause I bought an island!" Yep! And No Type? First line of the song: "I don't got no type, bad b---hes is the only thing that I like!" So basically, "I don't have a type! This is my type!" Oh, and apparently they pronounce their name like "Rae Shrimmer" or something. Yea, because there's supposed to be an H in there or something...

But that guy is always discussing music he des does suck. I do it when talking about Noize - the one genre I genuinely can't understand.

Here's a philosophical question for you - does it really count as becoming "That Guy" when discussing music that does, in fact, completely suck?
