CINEMADONNA: I'm Going to Tell You a Secret

The final Cinemadonna gives us an inside look at Madonna's worst music!

CINEMADONNA: I'm Going to Tell You a Secret

Comments

I now look forward to a series on the impact of the many films of Mariah Carey.

Rish Outfield

She's like the opposite of Madonna in that she actually proved herself a critically-acclaimed actress in her second career.

Talk about a way to keep the show running for years!

I enjoy "Under the Cherry Moon" at least on a camp level, perhaps because Prince was playing a Bugs Bunny variant of his "sex god" persona. "Graffiti Bridge," though...well, I'd love to hear Todd's thoughts.

I remember him as Pilate from "The Last Temptation of Christ," too. Good work from Willem Dafoe to counter his drubbing in "Body of Evidence."

My Bottom Five Awful Madonna Movies: "Shanghai Surprise," "A Certain Sacrifice," "The Next Best Thing," "Swept Away," and "W/E."

Can you do a series like this with Cher? I know you already did burlesque but I would love to see you talk about some of Cher's on screen career including her show with sonny

What about Elvis? That might be interesting.

Grace

He did a video about Madonna's cameos and minor roles and he talked about her role in Arthur and the Invisibles. I believe it's called Die Another Day (and other cameos)

Did you do an episode about Madonna's terrible voice acting? Did I miss that?

De

Oh yeah. I remember Madonna being into the cultural appropriated watered down version of Jewish mysticism, which then tries to claim it's the true Kaballah. She's like Jack Skellington.

I second the idea of reviewing J. Lo's films, if only to hear Todd's thoughts on Gigli.

LoL DO PRINCE NEXT!

Todd, Is You Gonna Review Film Work of Prince or Jennifer Lopez?

Michael Jones Jr.

Good riddance to Madonna's film career. Let's hope we never have to cover Madonna in anything other than music again.

lithium_green

There's a new documentary out called Strike A Pose that's focused on her background dancers during her 91 tour. From what I've heard, they don't paint a very flattering image about Madonna.

Yvette

Bowie would be awesome. Since at one point he played Nikola Tesla.

Yvette

So who's film work will you cover next, Todd? J.Lo? Beyonce? Prince? Bowie?
