Anastasia was the first movie I ever saw. The only thing I remember about it was my mum bought us donuts afterwards and took us to a pet store to look at puppies and all of that was way more entertaining and probably cheaper than watching the movie.

I was 12 when I first heard Donna Lewis, and it got lots of play. I just looked at the Year End Hot 100 of 1996 (she placed #7) and...holy crap. This was the same year that gave us "Breakfast at Tiffany's," "Counting Blue Cars," "Missing," "One of Us," "Name," "Who Will Save Your Soul," "The World I Know," and perhaps the last pop hits from Eric Clapton ("Change the World" with Babyface) and John Mellencamp ("Key West Intermezzo (I Saw You First)." I remember ALL of them. Even Jann Arden.

The ending has me curious. Did someone request "Me So Horny" by 2 Live Crew? lol

I have an odd attachment for the Anastasia song, guilty pleasure or not kid me liked the movie and the pretty dresses she got to wear and the song. No accounting for taste there. Can say I've never herd any of her other songs though wow. Also the Hercules song, man the pop version sucks but I actually like the version they play in the movie sung by the actor for Hercules .

When the buy-in's back open, I would back either of the ones you mentioned in this ep but did not choose.

I swear this song has been in my head since I first heard it in the 8th grade. Though, man, now I really want to see a video for 88 Lines About 44 Women.

They still play this song all the time on the adult contemporary stations. I hear it a lot when I'm driving through the rural Midwest and the only radio options are adult contemporary, country, or religious.
