There had already been major gay musicians for decades too. Boy George, George Michael, David Bowie, The Village People just to name a few.

2015-10-27 19:24:25 +0000 UTCThe sad thing is, this movie didn't have to be bad. It needed a rewrite if it was going to be any good, but the premise is fine. You could have made a decent movie, or even a good movie, built around the idea of nontraditional family and parenting styles and all the legal and personal ramifications that can ensue. But Madonna was not the actress to lead it and John Schlessinger should probably have said no to it.
