Hiii, just joined :) I found your channel with the All or nothing video. I loved them a lot! Im still seeing your other videos! / I was part of the Homestuck fandom all my high school years and most part of my first three years of College. It was a huge thing for me, overall the fandom experiences I had were terrible, terrible. But I realized I am bi thanks to Kanaya and I am glad I found some content closing it up somehow.

Hey! I love this video - Homestuck was always a really intimidating thing to learn about, because there is so much content that it's hard to know where to start, so this is great. ALSO - Max Landis is in your youtube comments and he's a known abuser and generally problematic character (besides the abuse stuff, there was that thing about him and Hbomb a few years back, etc etc) so I just wanted to let you know that he's in there. He has a rep for being a groomer.

This was poggers Sarah. I stopped reading Homestuck when it concluded and then several years later I heard more stuff was added (Homestuck 2, the epilogues) and I always meant to get around to picking it back up again. With this, I know I don't have to. You have freed me of a burden I didn't know was mine.

If you have many canons, would that be a battery?

At 1h28m it's like Deja Vu from Half-Life going episodic. The whole point of having an episodic game is to release the game in small episodes so players don't have to wait as long, and producers get a little income. Also why Dickens et al released novels chapter-wise. And like how Valve failed to release Half-Life episodes in a timely manner, the same happened here.

god when you said that the homestucks were the theatre kids of cons I felt that hard. I just got some real vivid memories of being 15 and walking around a convention in a city where I knew nobody with two foot-long horns either side of my head that I could probably use in 2021 to physically enforce social distancing and somehow ending up with a huge group of people that knew exactly what I was about??? homestuck was weird dude

I started reading Homestuck back in 2012 or so. I got a few hours in, bookmarked it, and said I'd come back to it later. That bookmark is still in my Pocket app never opened (and it's a link to the old mspaintadventures.com site, so it's broken now anyway). Anyway, really want to watch this, but my internet died and I have to wait for an engineer to come and fix it. :(
