I wonder which is worse. The game spheres from earth, or my old and scratched PS3 game disks?

Hi Mike Duncan thanks for making such a good podcast I was happy listening to it with ads but I’m even happier to give you money for it I love you I love you I love you thank you so much

Hingus Durgue

Yes, I heard that today. I had thought he had been concentrating on a single revolution. I did not realize that he was taking a little from everything.

Frank Gulla

Would love to know more about how languages and religion evolved on Mars and how it influenced the revolution as the series progresses.

Michael Freedman-Schnapp

He goes a little into the why on his other podcast "The Duncan and Co History Show" if you are interested.

Lawrence Moeller, Jr.

Loving this so far! Though very weird to be reading Red Mars at the same time. I keep forgetting what happened in which!

Gonna need a Mr Blastoid’s Big Bang Show shirt in the merch store

I’m looking forward to when they dig up the old 3 legged war machines from the archaeological site.

artificial gravity: While artificial gravity is a super useful expedient, it causes issues with verisimilitude. Artificial gravity without spin requires overcoming inertia in a way that is almost certainly not physically possible. It also robs you of the speciation question that both KSR and SA Cory highlight in their Martian/Space colony revolutions.

Hell yeah Mike Duncan on Patreon with that sweet, sweet ad free feed. I'm so happy!

Mike, oddly, I have not been a Patreon member of your podcast in the past. I guess that was because, as a mid-term, joiner, it was not clear what would last and what would not. I got int the habit of sending you a large check once a year. Now it seems that regular payments are better appreciated, so I have joined. Thanks for coming back and I look forward to where this "Season of Revolutions" is going. I will ask "Doesn't this seem familiar" (Is this a simulation of hte Breaking away of the South American Empire from Spain?) and why are have you shifted to a fictional tale? What are you trying to illuminate? Is this straw man you are setting up, to later tear apart with a new theory?
