same for me, like "crap the entire mountains on fire, i could maybe put some of it out but not enough and would take time my men don't have and stuff" i mean holdem didn't even throw shotenmaru off balance or anything, was the same as if he just said "I'm gonna kill u shotenmaru-- just 1 thing 1st' throws firebombs behind him into trees instead.

2020-08-28 05:48:34 +0000 UTCya, supposedly straw hat romance increw is off limits so no robinxzoro. tashigi is the best swordswoman wife for zoro but also hiyori is best housewife type so far for zoro (cant think of any other characters with significant effect on zoro or w/e, hollow fruit girl perona is still with hawkeye so it seems like their together but she also seemed to see zoro like her bear so idk), tho idk, ig well see. also i get the feeling hiyori wouldn't react badly or the way women usually do to brooks upskirt fetish request, similarly robin just laughs it off like a compliment or w/e without a reply. tho loving that he's finally got a girl that likes him straight forwardly, sanji had violet and pudding fall for him tho somehow unlike his usual ability to sense whats going on with a womans heart and danger he was mostly clueless with her he sensed her intentions to go meet with them but i think that was the only time he sensed anything with her, i mean he sensed tashigis tears and saved her and some of her crewmates from vergo :)

2020-08-24 17:29:46 +0000 UTCMy thing is, if you know what really happened in the manga, why does it matter so much? It's not like Ashura actually got defeated. He didn't even leave because he was outmatched. From my perspective, he left because his base was being destroyed and to look out for his subordinates. People are really reading too much into this counter, in my opinion. It's just an anime cannon filler transition scene. To each his own though, it wasn't a big deal to me.

2020-08-24 16:30:53 +0000 UTCNo Holdem started the fire but he never fights Ashura at all. He just sees the note Wanda and carrot left behind and headed straight to the forest the burn it down. Ashura then finds out it was Holdem fat burn his Hideout down and decides to head to town in anger. There was never any battle.

The fillers are hit or miss with me, they are either really great and bridge in gaps that the manga doesn't really go over or they are really bad and unnecessary like the filler Parts with kaido vs. Luffy and some of the Sumo fights with Luffy.

I don't know how they think it's acceptable to make Holdem fight Ashura to the point where Ashura needs to retreat. It downplays Ashura's strength and therefore importance to the cause if he can't make quick work of Holdem. Toei please...

That was all entirely filler, in reality Ashura would have made easy work of Holdem if they did fight. In the manga Holdem sees the note wanda and carrot leave behind and he never confronts Ashura, instead he just goes and burns down the forest never fighting anyone. Then Ashura finds out it was Holdem who burned his hideout and starts heading to Bakura town in anger saying he was gonna beat his ass.
