yeah, in the manga, the fight between zoro vs hawkins was just a few panels and it was pretty chill. Zoro easily dealt with the puppet. Hawkins wasn't fazed at all and drew the hierophant card and stopped pursuit. Understandably the anime had to drag it out, plus the fight was flashy and cool, but it made both Zoro and Hawkins both look like they had more trouble with each other.

Allona. in the manga Zoro beats that puppet much quicker compared to the anime. he basically blocks one attack, the nails get shot at him and then he destroys it. the anime clearly nerfed him

I'm surprised too cas you should have expected zoro to be stronger than most supernovas devilsfruit or not. Also I think he means Shanks vs other yonkous or admiral that have devilsfruit (whitebeard, akainu, etc.). I agree with Clyde tho haha, the anime definitely gave lot of extra flare for zoro. Edit: now that I think about it, I can see where you are coming from allona. Pretimeskip Sanji was supposed to be the same level as luffy and zoro as confirmed by Oda, that really impressed me too considering sanji not only doesn't have devilsfruit, but he also only uses his legs (after timeskip he got his raid suit so I assume he needs that powerup, we ll see)

remember law and luffy formed an alliance to take down kaido, but luffy wanted to get sanji back before they fought kaido, so luffy went to get sanji back, and laws been in wano since dress rosa with the other straw hats. But laws crew has been in wano since before punk hazard waiting for him.

Zoro has the Sandai Kitetsu. There's another 2 of the Kitetsu blades which are all cursed. Luffy has the Nidai and there's one more called the Shodai Kitetsu. Zoro's Sandai is a grade sword (Wazomono). The Nidai is a rank higher as one of the 21 great grade swords (O Wazomono). Ryuuma's sword Shusui is also an o wazomono. Shodai is a rank higher than Nidai as one of the 12 supreme grade sword (Saijo o Wazomono), the highest rank given to a sword. it was said in a databook that Mihawk's Yoru is a 12 supreme grade sword. Oda also revealed in an SBS that was released this year that Whitebeard's bisento is a 12 supreme grade sword too. so we know 3 out of 12 highest rank weapons, the fact that whitebeard's bisento is a supreme grade means that many different types of weapons can be a supreme grade sword (e.g a saber, cutless etc), not just normal swords or katanas

The Kitetsu blades are a set, they are three swords. Zoro has the Sandai Kitetsu, Luffy is now holding the Nidai Kitetsu and there is also a third sword the Shodai Kitetsu. They are all cursed blades. The reason why Zoro wanted to hold the Nidai is because he felt it was similar to his Sandai, which makes it even more frustrating that Luffy wouldn't let him touch it. Oda being a troll as usual.

I'm surprised to see Zoro do it because I really don't recall him going this hard since time skip. Also to me you can't compare him to Shanks or Rayleigh since that had way more years of experience than he had. Yes he trained with Mihawk but we haven't seen fully the extent of his strength now. Him continuing to show all of the benefits from that training makes me excited and look forward to what's to come in his future.

Zoro didn't beat him, he just beat a puppet. We know Hawkins has much more in store and the anime completely changed the fight in favor of Zoro because the Chief Animation Director is a huge Zoro fangirl like Allona lol.

Why are you so surprised the Zoro beat Hawkins who is a devil fruit eater when Shanks is an Emperor and he doesn’t have a fruit. So you shouldn’t be surprised that a non devil fruit eater can beat a devil fruit eater. Rayleigh kicking Luffys ass during training arc while Luffy is in gear fourth for example or the admirals being afraid of Shanks at marine ford

I read the manga and i just realized Ace was Tama's "Shanks". Makes me feel Oda isn't going to give us that Luffy and Shanks reunion either....

To answer your question about Ace being in Wano, I'm assuming he just went for an adventure unless they happened to shipwreck there on complete accident. But Ace was not part of Whitebeard's crew at the time he showed up at Wano. Notice how he doesn't have the back tattoo, he didnt care about picking fights with yonko at that time either.

100 % all the worst generations going to betray and help luffy fight kaido. Its going to a long hard battle for sure cause all the worst generations and luffy barely could beat up one of the crew member of Rogers's crew in the movie. and Kaido is in a totally different level. Luffy ain't going to beat kaido 1 vs 1 all the way through. Basically its like do-flamingo story line. But a win is a win.
