Amande “ The Mad Moiselle” would be a great cosplay! Her hat is supposed to be reminiscent of an almond which is her namesake. I don’t know if you’ve notice, but BM’s children all have food related names. The only one that stands out as the odd man out to me is Lola.

Anyone else find themselves appreciating the foreshadowings and story telling of One Piece more when they rewatch it through others reactions? When I first saw this arc I just kept complaining about the animation and comparing it to the manga. Since I read the manga and I watched it weekly. Now I find myself enjoying it so much more and appreciating the story.

Oda said that thigh tattoo’s are a big thing in the long leg tribe to the point where I don’t think we’ve ever seen one without a tattoo. So it’s safe to assume that the one in the book isn’t Blue Gilly but instead just a random long leg.

Big Mom had the red poneglyph beforehand, jimbei gave her one of the blue regular ones. the story of jimbei finding it and the big dude joining his crew were on the first page of manga chapters years ago. sometimes oda likes to tell little side stories on the cover
