Darkness' Duel (ESPRESSO)
Added 2025-07-06 23:59:36 +0000 UTCDreamland; the land of the ruleless. It was a backwater, lawless land with no progress beyond rudimentary building materials and cooking. Its inhabitants only amounted to debatedly sapient animals and people that were far too trusting for their own good.
For someone hailing from a structured, frosty land where might made right, it was far too easy to establish rule. Without experience or wit to question his words, it was no trouble for him to spin tales of supposedly ‘lost royalty’ that convinced the populace to accept him as their king. Before long, he had not only a castle but an army of frenzied, squishy-looking volunteers who were convinced of his right to rule and be gluttonous while doing so.
And a troublesome pink puffball aside, no one in Dreamland could put up a fight… well, it would be more accurate to say that no one from Dreamland could put up a fight.
