September Tangent Topic Poll

Brain dump for potential topic: the eugenics, ableism and politics of the handling of viruses and mass health issues over time. the evolution of health standards and practices related to them. (covid, HIV, the flu). how/why they're handled differently and the same across political parties and the results of that, and the undercurrents of eugenics, ablism, homophobia. How hand washing and mask wearing evolved in the past. Could tie it back into the history of the flu pandemic, HIV, covid, how hand washing and surgical mask wearing came to be, tying into the underlying aspects of eugenics, capitalism and ableism.

It's okay. Take your time, and hope all is well. Don't make me come up there with chicken soup. Because that could happen.

I often tend to vote on the second or third highest ranked thing on these lists (e.g. anti-shippers, true crime, cancelling revisited, hillary clinton, conspiracies, etc) and it's so interesting to see how these polls actually shake down
