It's a trope reversal on the punchline that created the Smauggie dynamic where this time the giant can't be overfed as pathetically as Smauggie could! And it makes me realize that if Smauggie had the stomach she claims to have then this is as far as her relationship with Eldwell would have gone. I love it like I always love bad end versions, but I somehow prefer that Eldwell's residents are always threatened and teased with demise but usually casually avoid it.
