The August Update!

Welcome back all!! It's another month in the sun here at Lewdlemage dot com, but this month's a little different! As mentioned before, this is OC MONTH! This basically means that for this month's animation poll, the usual no-OCs rule is gone! You can now suggest your OCs or others artist's!

HOWEVER! Let me be clear that first, regarding other artist's OCs, I obviously need permission to animate them! If you can obtain that yourself that's great, but otherwise I'll ask the person themselves if the character manages to win! ALSO!!! Please DO NOT go around asking SFW artists or artists that don't draw this kind of thing (vanilla NSFW artists,etc) if you can suggest their character! I do NOT want people bothering random artists about this! Plus, I'd much rather draw OCs from this "community" and give back a little that way! Good examples for who to suggest would be Metalforever's Ember, Kipteitei's Kip, etc etc!

Another piece of news about this month, since SMAUGGIE and LAMI won animations last time, I am removing them from the competition this time! Just because I'd like to give other OCs a chance! 

As far as what to expect this month, I'll be shooting to finish the Lami comic! There's two pages left! There'll be at least one page posted this month but hopefully I can shoot for two! Also just in general expect some OC stuff from me!

Also important, I floated around the idea last month of me doing WORM MONTH in September! This means a month where I would animate my own ideas instead of doing it via poll! The idea behind this is to allow me a bit of a break and room to experiment! The monthly schedule can be quite the grind and it makes it quite difficult to try different things sometimes, and doing this would allow me space to recharge and also try some weirder ideas I wouldn't have the time for otherwise! There WOULD still be a poll however, don't worry! Just instead of the winners winning animations, the top 3 would all win sketches! Once again I'm planning on doing this NEXT month if the response seems positive, so let me know what you think!
