Mid-June Progress Update

Hey people! So it's mid-June already... That means we've got just a month and a half until the next full release of Baby Maker (and 2-4 weeks until early access..!). Holy guacamole!

Sooo with how quickly the release is approaching, I have continued focusing on finishing up a select number of things!

One main focus has been the potty system. I think I've talked about this before, but I'll talk about it again, since it's what I've been working on!

In the update, Kiera will be able to go potty no matter what type of undies she's in (though her ability to go all by herself will vary based on her independence and whether she's in diapers). If she poops in the potty, she can advance from diapers to pull-ups, or pull-ups to panties. Of course, accidents will demote her back to more padding (or leave her stuck in diapers!)! There are a lot of potty scenes to build for this, depending on whether she knows she has to potty or not, what she's wearing, if anyone is in her party, etc.. So tackling that has been a big part of my progress lately! Additionally, I have been working on lots of accident animations (including leaks!).. plenty of which are still unfinished, so I'll be doing more with those in the weeks to come!

A while back, Billie (the dolly girl) won a poll regarding who you'd like to see in Kiera's party next. So I've been working on getting her into the game as a party member! As you can see in the picture, all party members will have the "Check" ability so that they can keep an eye on Kiera's undies.. but their other two skills will be different. For example, Billie likes to push on Kiera's tummy, like she does with her regular dolly. Her dolly goes poo-poo when Billie does that... Wouldn't it be fun if Kiera did, too? I'm having fun writing for Billie, she's shaping up to be an interesting character! :3

I have also been focusing on finishing up some of the new activities you can do, like hide and seek and going on perilous monster-fighting quests. I have been working in some unique dialogue for when Kiera is playing hide and seek and has to go potty... Though she'll have a hard time breaking away from her game to do something as boring as going potty! (If she even notices.. it's a pretty distracting game, isn't it?)

Finally, I have been continuing with the main plot, the girl's club plot, and adding some further side plots into the game. I think that by August, you and Kiera will have a lot more to explore around the daycare.. and some head-scratching mysteries to start solving!
